haar client policies

Policies are in place to protect your experience and the haar: lash, brow, & beauty boutique.

All policies are subject to change. Please review regularly.

Reward Policy:

You will earn rewards for many reasons. Rewards can be redeemed for any client 16 years of age or older. Clients under the age of 16 do not qualify to earn or redeem rewards. Reward points are valued at $.01 each. They can only be redeemed for service charges. Gift Cards & Retail purchases do not qualify for reward redemption. Reward points cannot be redeemed until you reach 1000 pts. ($10 value). Earned reward points are unavailable for redemption for 24 hours after transaction is closed. Other rules apply for formal events & weddings.

Tardiness Policy:

Please know that your tardiness can affect the remainder of my scheduled day by delaying me for other clients who come in on time. Clients will generally be allowed a fifteen-minute grace period. After that time, I will try to call to check your estimated time of arrival. If you are not able to make it in time to complete your entire scheduled service, we may have to forgo a portion of your scheduled services in order to keep it in the time allotted for you, but you will be responsible for the entire scheduled service price.

I will not sacrifice the integrity of your hair or the quality of my work to shorten the time. Be sure to always call if you think you might be late. I would rather know as early as possible so I can do my best to fit you in without upsetting the flow of the day. Any scheduled services sacrificed will fall under the cancellation and reschedule policy.

Service Amendment Policy:

When determining service time allotment, I have carefully designated a time frame for each individual service. If you choose to amend (or change) your appointment prior to your scheduled visit, please call at your earliest convenience. If time permits and the necessary products and tools are available I can certainly accommodate. If the time is not available, I can work toward your target look during your original appointment and we will consult on your goals and schedule accordingly for your next appointment. I certainly do not want to rush a service when we are not prepared or without the time available. If the amended appointment is valued less than the original appointment or if you cancel part of your reservation, the cancellation and reschedule policy does apply.

Cancellation and Reschedule Policy:

A 24 hour notice is required if you wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment that has less than 1 hour reservation on my schedule.48 hour notice is required if you wish to cancel services over 1 hour in scheduled time allotted.

 

Formal, annual or life events (school dances, days of weddings, charity balls, etc.) require a 48 hour cancellation. Cancellation fee is enforced at $30 for each service cancelled plus 15% of the cancelled service cost. Annual or life events are a challenge to find time slots available for all those interested in receiving services and additional staffing and catering are booked weeks in advance.

 

You will be assessed a sitting fee for each service that has been cancelled. Fee Schedule is below. (example: S1 haarCut, all over color & brow design scheduled during standard business hours= $15.75 Cancellation Fee) The sitting fee must be paid prior to scheduling another appointment.

If you reschedule or cancel beyond the allotted window on three occasions in a rolling 12 month period, you will automatically be enrolled in the 48 hour Booking Program. Details are below.

No Show Policy:

I am forgetful. I understand life can happen and distract us from our appointments. Every effort is made to remind you of your appointment including a reminder text message the day of your appointment. If you choose not to receive text messages this feature will not be available for you. Neglecting to contact me prior to your appointment time and not showing for your visit will result in automatic enrollment in the 48 hour booking program after one occurrence. The cancellation and reschedule policy does apply.

 

48 hour booking program:

I realize your schedule is as hectic as mine. To avoid future scheduling issues and to be able to accommodate your busy lifestyle you will be enrolled in the Haar 48 Hour Booking Program. Once enrolled in 48 Hour Booking Program you will only be able to call up to 48 hours prior to when you would like to visit based on availability. You will automatically be enrolled if you cancel or reschedule 3 times in a rolling year.

Should you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours while enrolled in this program you will only be able to book same day appointments.

After six months without an occurrence, you will be reinstated into the regular scheduling program. Should you cancel or reschedule your reservation, the cancellation and reschedule policy does apply.  

Redo Policy:

The utmost care is taken during the consultation process for each and every visit. It is vital to communicate every detail or concern during this time. As much as we prepare and plan there is always a chance that you do not like or feel 100% confident with the outcome. I will give you personalized care instructions for home that communicate the best products and steps to maintain your hair. Hair requires care and effort to be maintained and remain fabulous.

If we have a miscommunication or you do not feel I fully understand your needs, you must tell me at the time of the consultation. My time consulting with you on what you want for your service is such an important time for us to determine your needs and learn about your hair.

If there are hidden hair colors under your current “natural color” you will be charge for a color correction should it inhibit your goal color.  It takes years for hair to grow out if it is longer than your chin.

Should you not be happy with our outcome, you must communicate the concern within 7 days following your appointment. I will then give you 3 additional days to visit for an assessment. I must see your hair in person in order to determine the issue. I will determine if it was a miscommunication or an error or oversight on my part. Once determined, we will establish a plan of action to correct. If you do not communicate the concern in the allotted time the redo policy does not apply.

I must remind you that hair color always fades, hair grows from the root constantly, and in order for hair to be beautiful, it must be styled.

Changing your mind does not does not qualify as a redo and you will be subject to full service up to and including a color correction.

Refund Policy

Service prices and opened retail products are non-refundable.
